Harlequin, Mantle and Black Great Danes
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent.
His eager body quivers.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

MEET ABBY:
Today 01 / 19 / 2008 is one of the saddest days at Farm Pasture Danes, we lost our dear Abby to bloat. Abby was such a sweet, wonderful baby girl and we were truly blessed to have 1 litter from her. She was truely one of the best Danes we have owned. Abby was just 2 years old. Abby will be missed terribly and she will remain forever in our hearts, we also know she is in a wonderful place.

In Memory of my sweet Athena
Sadly we found our sweet Athena past away first thing this morning 2 / 25 / 08, We are so hurt and confused as to what is going on. She was perfectly fine last night when we checked on all of them like we always do right before bed time. The first thing that came to our minds was Bloat since we had just recently lost her half sister Abby to the same thing. It has been confirmed that it was not bloat but still unsure what did cause this. We truly hope we can get to the bottom of this God Awe-full Tragedy. One of our puppy buyers that purchased a female out of Athena was injured and could no longer take care of her so she returned her to us. We are so thankful we got her back so that we may keep a piece of Athena here with us. We hope that Chloe will carry on Athenas wonderful traits.
